Grey Weighted Blanket
Designed to provide complete body relaxation, weighted blankets give a feeling of comfort and support whilst you rest and sleep. Providing evenly distributed weight across your whole body, this gentle pressure encourages your body into a calming and relaxed state which sooths and has a reassuring effect on the mind and body. Ideal for those who are autistic or for those who are anxious or worried, a weighted blanket is just like receiving a big hug and provides the necessary reassurance for you to feel completely relaxed.
Children’s Weighted Blanket
Handcrafted from 7 layers which all work together to create this unique and comforting heavy throw, Homescapes’ weighted blankets are made from the finest hypoallergenic materials, making it ideal for all – including allergy sufferers. The heavy, middle layer is formed of uniformly sized, non-toxic glass beads. These beads are encased between 2 layers of hypoallergenic lining which is then encased within 2 layers of microfibre lining, providing overall comfort and warmth. The top is then covered in a faux velvet and the reverse in a breathable and durable 200 thread count 100% cotton resulting in a super soft, long lasting weighted blanket.
Both functional and stylish, Homescapes weighted blankets are box quilted and piped around the edging, this ensures that the lining and glass beads stay in place and the weight remains evenly distributed. Evenly spread loop ties (8 in total) are attached to the dark grey piping so that you can fasten the heavy blanket securely inside a weighted blanket cover (sold separately), allowing you to mix and match cover colours and also providing protection from stains and wear and tear.
Weighted Blanket for Kids
Measuring 100 x 150 cm and weighing 3.2 kg, this is the perfect weighted blanket for kids and young children who suffer with anxiety, restless leg syndrome or for those who have autism. It can take some time for your mind and body to become accustomed to using a weighted blanket so we do recommend regular use and over time you will start to notice a change.
Weighted blankets are designed to be used individually, to find the best weighted blanket for you it is recommended you opt for one which is between 10-12% of your bodyweight.
